We elect REPRESENTatives.....

When we go to the polls, it is to elect representatives-- the people who will most closely adhere to policies that we personally can support and agree with-- those who will most accurately represent our own views and convictions when it comes to matters of public policy. They will be 'us' in Washington or our local capitals.

Many people this year still believe that a vote for the "lesser of two evils" in the so-called major parties is the best they can do, and they feel compelled to base their vote on that formula. I believe that to do so is to remain in their net. As long as we are convinced that we have no choice but to vote for one of the two candidates that the liberal media has chosen to present, we are in bondage to them. Not me. I am free.

I encourage you to vote as a free person, not a slave-- look at all the candidates and vote for the one you would really like to see in office! I would really like to see Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party in office, and those are the policies I would like to see implemented in the next four years.

Vote in favor of your personal convictions and principles-- and leave the outcome in the Lord's hands. We can only lose when we compromise ourselves, thinking we will be "safer" by doing so. As Christians, maintaining our integrity must be done in the voting booth as in all other contexts.

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
II Timothy 1:7
